Terms and Conditions

By accessing or using LastMinutePhotographers (“we”, “us”, “our”, “the Platform”), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform.

1. About the Platform

LastMinutePhotographers is a community-based directory and connection platform that enables photographers (“Photographers”) and customers (“Customers”) to find and contact one another.

We do not:

  • Provide photography services

  • Employ photographers

  • Act as an agent, broker, or representative

  • Manage bookings, contracts, payments, or deliverables

All arrangements are made solely between the Photographer and the Customer.

2. Role of the Platform

Our role is limited to facilitating initial introductions. We review submitted requests and share relevant, non-sensitive project details with photographers who may be available.

Customers and photographers communicate and contract directly. We are not a party to any agreement formed between users.

3. No Responsibility for Services

We accept no responsibility for:

  • The quality, style, or suitability of work

  • Missed deadlines or failure to deliver services

  • Customer dissatisfaction or disputes

All issues must be resolved directly between the Photographer and the Customer.

4. Payments and Financial Arrangements

We do not process or handle payments.

We are not responsible for:

  • Pricing or quotes

  • Refunds or cancellations

  • Chargebacks or financial disputes

All financial arrangements are strictly between users.

5. Data Handling and Privacy

We are committed to protecting user privacy.

  • Customer submissions are collected via Tally forms and embedded within our Squarespace website

  • Form data is securely stored using Microsoft Excel systems for administrative purposes

  • This data is used solely to review requests and enable customer contact where necessary

We do not share customer personal data with photographers at any stage of the matching process.

Only non-sensitive project details are shared. Photographers independently choose what contact information they provide, which may then be shared with the customer.

6. Safety Disclaimer

We are not responsible for the conduct or safety of any user.

We strongly recommend that users:

  • Meet in pairs or groups where possible

  • Inform someone of their plans

  • Take reasonable personal safety precautions

Use of the Platform is entirely at your own risk.

7. Insurance Responsibility

Photographers are solely responsible for ensuring they hold appropriate:

  • Public liability insurance

  • Equipment insurance

  • Any other professional cover

We do not verify or guarantee insurance status.

8. Misrepresentation and Fraud

The following may result in immediate suspension or termination:

  • Impersonating another individual

  • Submitting work that is not your own

  • Misrepresenting identity, experience, or portfolio ownership

We reserve the right to remove content or accounts without notice.

9. Community Standards

We operate a zero-tolerance policy for:

  • Harassment or bullying

  • Discrimination of any kind (including racism, sexism, or ageism)

  • Hate speech or abusive behaviour

  • Threats or intimidation

Violations may result in content removal, suspension, or permanent bans at our discretion.

10. Complaints and Enforcement

  • Users receiving multiple complaints may be restricted or removed

  • We are not obliged to disclose complaint details

  • We may take action without prior notice where appropriate

11. Account Accuracy

Users agree to:

  • Provide accurate and truthful information

  • Keep their details up to date

  • Not mislead other users

Failure to comply may result in account removal.

12. Age Requirement

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Platform.

13. No Guarantees

We do not guarantee:

  • Photographer availability

  • Response times

  • Platform uptime or uninterrupted access

  • Accuracy of listings

  • Quality of work

The Platform is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, LastMinutePhotographers shall not be liable for:

  • Any loss, damage, or injury

  • Financial loss or missed opportunities

  • Disputes between users

  • Actions or omissions of any user

15. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless LastMinutePhotographers from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from:

  • Your use of the Platform

  • Your interactions with other users

  • Your breach of these Terms

16. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the Platform:

  • At any time

  • For any reason

  • Without notice

17. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of any updated Terms.

18. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
